KELSEY WOIDA
Kelsey is a licensed massage therapist and maker of clothing and home goods. Her practice is inclusive, trans-affirming, and trauma-informed, rooted in mutual trust, respect, and bodily autonomy.
Her approach incorporates Swedish massage, Thai stretching, deep tissue, myofascial release, and relaxation techniques, with experience supporting pregnant and postpartum clients. Each session is individualized, guided by careful listening to the body, its muscle and connective tissues, and nervous system. Kelsey believes that every person is the expert of their own body and approaches massage as a collaboration, adjusting pressure and technique to meet each client's needs.
Kelsey holds a Master's in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from the Philadelphia School of Massage and Bodywork. Before becoming a massage therapist, she worked with incarcerated people and people seeking abortion care, experiences that inform her commitment to liberation and helping people feel more free in their bodies and the world.A Philadelphia resident for over a decade, Kelsey is also a member of the Philadelphia Film Society, an avid practitioner of yin yoga, and a lifelong learner. Outside the studio, she enjoys sewing and spending time with her floofy little dog, Donna. Both massage therapy and making things keep her grounded, curious, and alive to possibility.PRIVATE SESSIONS :
